Prepaid Phone Plans
Prepaid phone plans are a great alternative to signing year long contracts requiring you to pay for more useage than needed. This blog will walk you through the steps to choosing a plan that is right for you.
Before going further through this blog, please take a moment and ask yourself the following questions:
- Do you talk more than a five hundred minutes each month?
- Do you want to be able to access the web from your prepaid phone?
- Do you want the ability to record video or take high definition pictures?
- Do you want push-to-walkie-talkie modes?
- Do you want any other fancy feature?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, purchasing a prepaid phone plan probably isn’t right for you. Those features will end up costing the same, if not more, than a regular contract-plan. However, I’m not saying it’s impossible to find phone plans with hardware to support those features listed above. Also – most contract plans start around $40/month and include around 400-500 minutes.
Before you purchase any prepaid phone plan or contract plan, please check the service coverage! Many people can use their phones at a coffee shop, at their employer’s offices, or on their way to Burger King, but as soon as they get to their living room they lack any reception.
Because of the ridiculous number of prepaid phone plans, it’s impossible to cover 100% of the costs and keep it updated, so this blog will break down the process of making a purchase for you. The most popular plans will be discussed, analyzed and broken down into existing plan features.
